this year, the one-day event will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at a new venue
--the very spacious Huntington Convention Center, located at 300 Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland.
if you're a season ticket holder, your exclusive event time is 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. a general admission ticket costs $5, but if you'd like player autographs, you can bundle that with a $35 ticket for a current Indians player autograph session or a $30 ticket for an alumni autograph session. tickets went on sale on November 15 and i don't think many are left. so if you're interested, you better act now!
for everyone else, Tribe Fest tickets to the general public went on sale on November 28 at 10 am. this part of the event will take place from 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm and a GA ticket costs $10. if nothing changed from last year, then i believe kids under 3 years old can get in for free. the ticket prices for autographs are the same as the season ticket holders; just bundle your GA ticket with a $35 current player auto session or $30 alumni auto session. note: there is a limit of four tickets per autograph session per transaction.
four time blocks have been scheduled for autograph sessions at this event. those are from 1:45 pm - 2:45 pm, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm, and 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. each hour-long block consists of four roster autograph sessions--listed as A, B, C, and D--and one alumni autograph session. however, all four of the 1:45 pm roster sessions, the A & B 3:00 pm roster sessions, and the D 4:15 pm roster session have already sold out.
while the autograph session tickets do not allow you to pick which players you can get signatures from, you do have the option to purchase tickets for multiple time sessions. this way, you can ensure yourself more player autos. that said, the Indians recommend choosing different group letters if you are going to do that because they anticipate the players will remain in the same group letter all day. ie. should you purchase Session D at 3:00 pm, buy Session A, B, or C at 4:15 pm, etc.
besides Michael, here are the other players* currently confirmed to be in attendance:
Yandy Diaz (just added today)
Francisco Lindor (just added today)
(*player appearances are subject to change and you can expect even more players to be added in the coming weeks.)
right now, the Indians alumni are still to be determined, according to the Indians' twitter.
furthermore, manager Terry Francona will be there.
as always, many family-oriented activities are on the itinerary as well. some of those include:
--player games on the KeyBank Main Stage
--Q&As with Tito, Chris Antonetti, and more
--honorary contracts from Tribe executives
there will also be face painting and photo opportunities for the kids. a $5 or $10 general admission ticket is all that's required for these festivities. and of course, Slider and the Hot Dogs will be walking around the venue, too.🌭🌭🌭
